I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and facilities, as well as the friendly staff. For a 3-star hotel, I expected free breakfast. They did have free coffee in the lobby, but on caffeine. A few pastries next to the coffee would have been at least something. They do have a $3.99 breakfast deal Mon to Fri but not on weekends. I didn't like that they offer adult movies. Even though I blocked them, the option still showed up when turning on the TV. Not good when I'm sitting there with my 14-year-old son. Also, for a 3-star hotel I expected a pool. Good service, very clean room, and excellent restaurant. Very good parking availability and location. I would recommend to stay at this hotel but would definitely not pay the full price of the room since there are newer hotels in the immediate area. ...read more

Family with Teens
This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. We arrived around 5:00PM and were told immediately by the rude kid at the front desk that our request for a non-smoking room could not be met. My wife can not tolerate smoke odor, so we decided to at least look at the room. The hotel was under renovation and it was not appealing at all as we went upstairs. When they opened the door to the room it reeked of cigarette smoke and there was only one bed. We returned to the front desk and told them that the room was unacceptable. The girl at the desk said sorry, thats all we have. She refused to give us a refund. We went next door to the Baymont and obtained a room. We did go back to the Holiday Inn to eat at Undos which was good. When I went back to the Baymont and checked room availability at the Holiday Inn, I confirmed that they did have the type of room that we had asked for available. ...read more

I wish they would have blocked off the front part of the rooms for availability due to the maintenance being done to the 3rd floor. We could not rest in our room due to the noise. Other than that, the staff was nice, the lobby was roomy, and the restaurant was clean. ...read more
